Amount Raised
Fundraising Goal $1,000.00

I've always adored kids, and the wonderful spirit they bring to the world. Help me raise money so the kids can be themselves again! If my work with children has taught me anything, it's that every child is capable of accomplishing the most amazing things... the money fundraised will go to helping them become more capable to accomplish their dreams.

If I accomplish my goal, I will wear my cape for the full 5-11th. The more I raise, the more places I'll go wearing my cape, with pictures included! I may even convince some friends to wear some with me! My cape will be a pillowcase covered in designs from the kids I volunteer with, kids just like the ones desperately in need of help. Please donate if you can!

UPDATE 1: Thanks to everyones generosity, I have raised $300.00, which was my original goal! Thanks to you, I will wear my cape from March 5th to 11th to support disabled kids. I will update again shortly with a picture of the cape I will be creating!

If I reach the $600.00 goal, I will create a full supersuit and wear it out to the mall for an hour. The more fundraising done, the longer I will spend out in my supersuit! I can go to different places, and even try to talk to others about the hospital and supporting the cause. Thank you everyone for your generosity, but it isn't over yet!

UPDATE 2: Wow. I'm actually in shock here; I can't believe we made our second goal! A sincere thank you to everyone who's pitched in so far, and I guess I better pull out my old supersuit! However, a hero's work is never done- we still have more money to raise!
The new goal is $1000.00, and I want to try and raise it by Valentine's day! If I do, I will head over to my superschool dressed as a hero and give out valentine's gift to kids! After all, we're just trying to spread some love!

Here's how your money will be used! (From the capesforkids site)

-To help kids and teens move, speak, play and lead through therapy, programs and services

-To enable research that is changing our understanding of autism, or perhaps your gift will fund innovative technologies that will change the future for kids and teens with disabilities

-To support programs and services that help families to stay strong, stay grounded and to keep going

Thank you for every contribution, on behalf of the hospital and all the kids in need!
